Founder And Leader Of Neurodivergent Insights

Dr Megan Anna Neff is an AuDHD clinical psychologist, Author, and educator, and the driving force behind Neurodivergent Insights. After her child was identified as Autistic, she began to notice many of the same traits in herself, leading to her own autism and ADHD discovery and a pivotal shift in her professional work.

She moved away from traditional psychological practice to focus on neurodivergent-affirming, evidence-based education, resources, and community support that centre lived experience, self-understanding, and nervous system regulation for late-identified AuDHD, autistic and ADHD adults.

Dr. Neff's Work

Through NDI, Dr. Neff translates complex neurodivergent experiences into accessible tools, workbooks, training, and digital resources that support self-understanding, regulation, and positive identity integration for neurodivergent adults, clinicians, and workplaces worldwide. Her infographics, frameworks, and clinical insights are widely used as a trusted reference across social media, professional learning spaces, and global neurodiversity conversations.

Dr. Neff is the author of Self-Care for Autistic People, a practical and compassionate guide offering 100+ strategies to support sensory, emotional, and cognitive wellbeing. Building on this work, she has also developed 100 Self-Care Activities for Autistic Adults, a thoughtfully designed deck of cards that brings these practices into everyday, embodied use.

Dr. Neff is also the author of The Autistic Burnout Workbook, a bestselling and widely used resource that helps Autistic adults and clinicians understand, map, and recover from autistic burnout. Her forthcoming book, AuDHD Unlocked, is set for release in Spring 2027 and brings together her clinical expertise and lived experience to offer a groundbreaking framework for adults navigating the dual realities of autism and ADHD.

Beyond her written work, Dr. Neff co-hosts Divergent Conversations, one of the top-ranked podcasts in the neurodiversity space, and leads the new Neurodivergent Insights YouTube channel. She is frequently featured in media outlets, professional trainings, and psychological publications, offering sought-after commentary on autistic burnout, masking, AuDHD, and the late-identified neurodivergent experience.
