The Mind-Body Awareness Bundle:
Alexithymia + Interoception Workbooks

Our emotional world and our bodily signals are deeply connected. For many neurodivergent people, that connection can feel out of reach—emotions may be hard to name (alexithymia), or body cues may be muted, confusing, or overwhelming (interoception).

The Mind-Body Awareness Bundle brings together two comprehensive workbooks—the Alexithymia Workbook and the Interoception Workbook—to support you in building language for emotions, deepening body awareness, and developing practical strategies for regulation.

These resources are thoughtfully designed for autistic and ADHD adults, as well as anyone navigating sensory processing challenges or trauma. Both workbooks include worksheets, visual tools, and reflective exercises you can print or complete digitally.

Inside the Interoception Workbook

The Interoception Workbook (105 pages) helps you explore the science of interoception and its impact on emotional well-being. It includes:
✦ Clear explanations of what interoception is and why it matters
✦ Reflections on how interoception intersects with autism, ADHD, and trauma
✦ Somatic practices to tune into your body’s signals
✦ Visual tools for emotional regulation and body awareness

Inside the Alexithymia Workbook

Part of the Neurodivergence and Emotions series, the Alexithymia Workbook takes a compassionate and practical approach to emotional awareness. Inside, you’ll find:
✦ An introduction to alexithymia and its impact on daily life
✦ Strategies for cultivating emotional understanding and body awareness
✦ Insights into the overlap of alexithymia, autism, and ADHD
✦ Exercises to grow your emotional vocabulary and strengthen communication

Together, these two resources provide a layered approach to mind-body connection—supporting both the naming of emotions and the noticing of body states that inform them.

✍️ Using Your Workbook Digitally

  • On an iPad or Tablet. You can open the PDF in an app like GoodNotes, Notability or Noteshelf → write directly on the pages with a stylus or keyboard. These apps allow typing, highlighting, and handwriting with an Apple Pencil. You just import your PDF workbook, and it becomes “fillable” by writing or typing.
  • On a Computer. If you’re on a computer, you can type your reflections right onto the workbook pages by opening the PDF in Adobe Reader (free) or another PDF viewer. Some people also like to keep a separate digital journal or Word/Google Doc open alongside the workbook, copying over prompts and writing more freely there.
