The Neurodivergent Emotions Workbook Bundle — Clinical

A Comprehensive Framework for Understanding Emotion in Neurodivergent Clients

This bundle brings together all nine workbooks from the Neurodivergent Emotions Series, designed specifically for clinicians and coaches supporting neurodivergent adults. The series offers an integrated framework for exploring emotion through a neurodiversity-affirming, ecological, and trauma-informed lens.

Each workbook combines research, psychoeducation, and reflective exercises that can be used within sessions or shared as guided client homework. Together, they help practitioners and clients trace how emotion emerges from the body and brain, and how it is influenced by cognition, relationships, personality, and environment.

Rather than positioning emotion regulation as a skill deficit to be corrected, this series reframes it as a process of understanding, contextualizing, and supporting nervous system function within real-world environments.

How This Bundle Supports Practice

1. Foundations of Emotional Awareness
Introduce clients to the building blocks of emotional literacy. Explore interoception and alexithymia as common neurodivergent experiences, and use exercises that help clients identify bodily cues, name internal states, and develop a vocabulary for emotion.

2. Understanding the Science of Emotion
The Emotions 101 Workbook and Companion Skills Workbook present the neuroscience of emotion in accessible language, helping clients understand the physiology behind emotional experiences. These tools support psychoeducation, insight-building, and compassion-based reframing.

3. Exploring the Influencing Factors
The Neurodivergent Emotions Mini-Series extends the lens beyond the individual, helping clients and practitioners explore five key domains that shape emotional life:

  • Body-Based Factors — somatic states, sensory load, rest, and movement

  • Cognitive Factors — patterns of thought, appraisal, and interpretation

  • Interpersonal Factors — attachment, communication, and co-regulation

  • Personality Factors — temperament, traits, and consistency over time

  • Environmental Factors — sensory context, systems, and ecological design
