The Cognitive Factors Workbook — Clinical License

Exploring core schemas, thought patterns, and beliefs about emotions

The Cognitive Factors Workbook (Clinical License) offers clinicians, coaches, and educators a neurodivergent-informed framework for exploring how cognition shapes emotional experience.
Designed as both a psychoeducational and therapeutic tool, it helps clients recognize the stories their minds tell — and build more flexible, compassionate ways of relating to these thoughts.

Inside the Workbook

Core Schemas & Beliefs
Support clients in identifying deeply held beliefs that shape emotional responses. Learn gentle ways to work with them to create more emotional flexibility and self-compassion.

Cognitive Distortions & Mental Filters
Use clear visuals and handouts to help clients recognize unhelpful thinking patterns — from catastrophizing to self-blame — and develop strategies for unhooking from them.

Beliefs About Emotions
Guide clients to explore how their personal beliefs about emotions influence regulation, expression, and self-compassion.
